Hello and welcome! I am Dr. Kosowsky and I graduated with my Psy.D. In Clinical Psychology from The George Washington University. My approach involves understanding how past experiences, relationships, emotions, and thinking inform who you are today. I offer telethealth services for psychotherapy and in-person psychological testing for a variety of concerns.
I am an "in-network" provider for United Health Care Insurance (UHC)/United Behavioral Health (UBH). For individuals possessing insurance policies, with the exception of UHC/UBH, I am considered an "out of network" provider. However, insurance can still help pay for treatment! Most insurance companies offer reimbursement for a percentage of the cost. Typically, this can range from 60-80% of cost but varies by coverage.
I recommend calling the number on the back of your insurance card and asking them the following questions:
* Do I have out-of-network benefits for mental health therapy?
* If I pay for those sessions, can I get reimbursed?
* What is the rate of reimbursement for these appointments?
* What is my “deductible?” (The deductible is the amount of money you have to pay out-of-pocket before the insurance company begins reimbursing).
* Is there a limit to the number of sessions that can be reimbursed within a calendar year?
